These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Alkasid Tech website and our services. By accessing this website, requesting a quote, or engaging us for work, you agree to these terms.
Services
Alkasid Inc. provides custom software design and development — including transportation management systems, CRM platforms, management and operations systems, websites, web applications, mobile applications, integrations, and related consulting and support.
Quotes & Estimates
Quotes and estimates provided through this website or in conversation are preliminary and non-binding. They are based on the information available at the time and are subject to confirmation once scope is fully defined. Final pricing, deliverables, and timelines are set out in a written proposal or agreement signed by both parties.
Where scope changes materially after work begins, pricing and timelines may be revised by agreement.
Engagement Terms
Each project is governed by its own written agreement covering scope, deliverables, milestones, payment schedule, and acceptance criteria. Where those project terms conflict with these Terms & Conditions, the project agreement controls.
Timely delivery depends on timely input. Delays in feedback, approvals, content, access credentials, or third-party dependencies may shift the schedule.
Ownership & Intellectual Property
On full payment, you own the custom source code, designs, and deliverables we produce specifically for your project, along with the associated data, domains, and third-party accounts registered in your name.
We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries, frameworks, and general know-how, and of any general-purpose components we developed before or independently of your project. Where such components are included in your deliverables, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use, modify, and host them as part of that system.
Unless otherwise stated, Alkasid Tech and its licensors own all material on this website. You may view it for your own personal or business use. You must not republish, sell, rent, sub-license, reproduce, duplicate, copy, or redistribute our content without permission.
Use of This Website
You agree to provide accurate information and to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, interfere with its operation, submit automated or fraudulent form submissions, or use it to transmit malicious code.
Communications & SMS
By providing your contact information, you agree that we may contact you regarding your inquiry, quote, and any services we provide to you.
If you opt in to SMS/text messages — either by checking the consent box on our forms or by giving us verbal permission — message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. Confidentiality
We treat non-public information you share with us — business processes, data, pricing, and system details — as confidential, and we do not disclose it to third parties except as needed to deliver your project or as required by law. We will sign a separate non-disclosure agreement on request.
We do not publish client names, live URLs, or screenshots of client systems without written permission.
Third-Party Services
Projects often depend on third-party platforms — hosting providers, payment processors, messaging services, mapping and telematics providers, and similar. Those services are governed by their own terms, and their availability, pricing, and functionality are outside our control. We are not liable for outages, changes, or discontinuation of third-party services.
Warranty & Support
We warrant that delivered work will materially conform to the agreed scope. We will correct defects reported within the warranty period stated in your project agreement at no additional cost. Work outside the agreed scope, changes requested after acceptance, and issues caused by modifications made by others are billable.
Except as expressly stated, our services and this website are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alkasid Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of this website or our services. Our total aggregate liability arising out of any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
